Downhill trails

The Freeride Trail Sunnbüel to Kandersteg is fun for both beginners and experts. 25 jumps, twelve tables, and 105 banked curves provide plenty of space for exciting descents.

Very close to the town, Bern’s local mountain, the Gurten, is the home of all freeriders. With raised curves, 270 metres of height, and the bike-wash system, you will always want to ride another circuit.

Interlaken calls: on the Bike Trail Schwanden-Brienz, mountain bikers speed over puddles, jumping hills, and ramps. The trail begins at the postbus stop in Oberschwanden.

The Grütsch Trail can be quickly reached from Lauterbrunnen by cable car. On three kilometres and 600 metres of altitude, crack downhill racers really step on it.

Enthusiastic mountain bikers are attracted from Magglingen onto the Biel Trail. Steep, stony sections alternate with flat, fast stretches. 15 jumping places of up to nine metres are the ideal locations for exciting tricks.

Situated in the heart of the Diemtigtal Nature Park, the Wiriehorn Bike Park has something to suit everyone, with three trails as well as three children’s tracks, pump tracks, and a skills park. The Wiriehorn mountain railway transports bike enthusiasts to the start of the trails in complete comfort.
