The Jungfrau Region is home to the worlds's longest toboggan run, the “Big Pintenfritz”. Celebrate reaching the finishing line with a tasty fondue.
15 km long, the "Big Pintenfritz" is the world’s longest toboggan runs – a previous host at the Faulhorn giving it its name.
Starting point is First (2,166 m), reached by gondola cableway from Grindelwald. From here a 2,5-hour walk on a signposted footpath takes you direction Bachalpsee and further up to the Faulhorn (2,681 m). Once on the Faulhorn you will be rewarded for your efforts with a unique panoramic view of much of Switzerland.
The toboggan run leads from the Faulhorn via Bussalp down to Grindelwald over a distance of 15 km. It is worth stopping for some Swiss specialities in the sunshine at the Bussalp restaurant.
